Walk the vineyards. Taste from the barrels. Taste the varieties before the blend.
For our September Long Table, we’re doing something a little different.
Spring has arrived in Malgas and the vineyards are waking up. We’ll start the afternoon with a brief walk through the vineyards.
From there, we’ll head into the cellar — and into the barrels.
You’ll have the opportunity to taste our white varieties individually from barrel, before tasting the blend they come together to create.
We’ll then go back in time to 2013, tasting Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre 2013 individually, before finishing with Sijnn Red 2013 and seeing how those individual varieties came together in the finished wine.
After the tasting, we’ll gather around the Long Table for a light lunch, accompanied by a glass of Sijnn wine of your choice. We’ll finish with a small dessert and coffee, with the afternoon wrapping up by 5pm.
It’s a chance to experience our wines in a way that simply can’t be recreated elsewhere — amongst the vines, in the cellar and straight from the barrels at Sijnn in Malgas.
